This informative education series consists of 6 individual presentations surrounding Death, Dying and Bereavement. Niagara on the Lake Community Palliative Care Service and the Niagara North Family Health Team partnered together and brought this informative Education Series to the Community Center in NOTL. You were not be disappointed if you came, and you wont be disappointed if you missed any. Because now you can watch this session on demand at Cogeco as well. Tune in to watch all the sessions.
SHRED-IT Fundraiser – Saturday, August 17th, 2019
For the fourth year in a row this fundraiser was generously sponsored by the Meridian Credit Union in Virgil. All the money raised will go to the Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Palliative Care Service.
We would like to say a BIG Thank You to all who contributed to the success of this years fundraiser. We raised over $4,000. with the help of Volunteers from Meridian Credit Union, Vineridge Academy, Shred-it, and our own team from NOTL Community Palliative Care Service which will go directly to serving our clients.
The 2019 Healing Cycle Ride Surpassed our goal of $14,000!
2019 was the 15th annual ride to support Hospice Palliative Care
across Ontario. This ride is organized and run by The Healing Cycle Foundation. Its mandate is to empower the hospice palliative care community with the funds raised and to champion the right of all Canadians to dignity, compassion and quality care to the end-of-life.
For the seventh year in a row the Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Palliative Care entered our team, the Pedal Pushers. Our small but mighty team of 5 riders raised over $16,800!

So much fun was had by all of us. We came home with a trophy for second place fundraisers, and we got a Spirit Award, for BEST TEAM Spirit. Maybe next year you could come ride with our team?
Santa’s Coming to Town to help a wonderful “C(l)aus” – Niagara on the Lake Palliative Care!
For the 2019 Christmas season Santa will visit over 30 family neighbourhood’s and business gigs with all the donations from the “Ho, Ho, Ho” happy events going to our Service! He raised over $1600 for this important “C(l)aus”! Last year. Thank you very much, Santa!
A Special event will once again be held at The Epicurean this year, THANK YOU so much Gina and family, for donating a portion from the breakfast proceeds to our Palliative Care Service ! See ya on December 8th at the Epicurean on Queen Street between 9-11:30 am Santa!! Come one come all. Santa and some special musical guests will be there. Don’t miss this one.
