    Surpasses goal of $14,000!

2019 was the 15th annual ride to support Hospice Palliative Care across Ontario. This Healing Cycle Ride is organized and run by The Healing Cycle Foundation. Its mandate is to empower the hospice palliative care community with the funds raised and to champion the right of all Canadians to dignity, compassion and quality care to the end-of-life.

For the seventh year in a row, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Palliative Care entered our team, the Pedal Pushers.   Our small but mighty team of 5 riders raised over $16,800!

Special thanks to our corporate sponsors: Mori Gardens, Penner Lumber, Simpson’s Pharmasave, Vince Kerrio, Lead Mechanical, Family Catering of Three, The Pedal Pub, Flying Saucer Restaurant, Niagara on the Lake Rotary Club, The Ukesters, The Epicurean Grill, McGarr Realty, Mama Mia’s Family Restaurant, Hummel Properties Inc, St Marks Church, and Vino Velo Bike Rentals. We wore your name on our backs with pride.

So much fun was had by all of us.  We came home with a trophy for second place fundraisers, and we got a Spirit Award, for BEST TEAM Spirit.  Next year come and ride with our team!

TENTATIVE date set for September 13th, 2020   stay tuned
