Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Palliative Care hopes to have a great turnout for our ride this year and welcomes everyone to join them or join them in raising money. Contact them via email if you would like to join by Sept. 20th.
This is the 10th year participating in the Healing Cycle as the “Pedal Pushers.” This small but mighty team has raised the most money for this competitive fundraiser over the past several years, made possible directly due to the generosity of the business and the people of the Niagara-on-the-Lake area. The Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Palliative Care services are FREE of charge to anyone experiencing a life-limiting illness at all stages and of all ages.
The Pedal Pushers raised over $20,000 last year. This year they have a challenge before them, as they have had a yearly corporate sponsor come forward and offer to match donations up to $25,000. They are fiercely trying to raise donations this year to hit this level.
If it is in your heart to donate to a very important crucial service in your backyard, please look into the services on this website. It is a very worthwhile donation as our services are constantly evolving and our client base is consisting growing. You never know when you or someone you know will need our services. You better believe we WILL be there; you are not alone.
